The local fisherman recall this intense Neblina covering our bay once before, just as it's happening now, they said it was around 1986 and it was very confusing to them because big rocks appeared to be very small in the distance, just as small boats appeared to be huge vessels. They experienced difficulty returning back to our beach, visibility was poor, it was hard to make out where they were and ended up landing in Boca de Iguanas since they had no GPS system back then, the fishing was poor...
In case you are wondering...neblina or niebla is what we call very low clouds that are formed by small particles of water in suspension. It is generally formed from the humidity in the ground evaporating and rising until it encounters cold air and then it condenses, creating these low clouds.

Donde estan las lanchas?
There are some species that are happy about the presence of la niebla, in the tropical forest there are many epiphyte plants that rely on neblina for moisture and nutrient transportation which they extract from the air; such plants as ferns, lichens, mosses, some climbing vines, bromeliads and orchids function in this way. We can usually see them living on top of another specie.
Bromelia contenta :)
I guess there is not much we can do about this phenomenon besides admire it, asi que disfruta caminar entre las nubes...
